An essay writing contest for 9th-12th grade students that can offer scholarship money for local, state, and national winners of the contest. The deadline for entry submission is October 31, 2025. If you are interested in this scholarship opportunity, come to the counseling office to pick up the application information. 

150 college scholarships worth $20,000. Students must be graduating during the 25-26 school year and have at least a 3.0 GP. The deadline to submit a full application is 5 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

The Better Business Bureau Ethical Torch Essay Scholarship honors ethical students for making the right choices. Eligibility is Students in grades 9-12 (graduating classes of 2026-2029) residing and enrolled in school in Apache, Coconino, Gila, Imperial, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Orange, Pinal, San Diego, Yavapai, or Yuma Counties are invited to apply. Ethical Torch Essay Scholarship

The BBB and AIA will select one winner each month from September to February (a total of six winners). Nominations are open through February 28, 2026. Each selected Ethical Athlete winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a certificate. Nominations will roll over from month to month. This scholarship honors student athletes who demonstrate ethical behavior and positive influence, both on and off the field. Two BBB Ethical Champions will be chosen from the six Ethical Athlete Scholarship Recipients, with each champion receiving an additional $2,500 scholarship. These champions will be announced at the AIA Championship event in May 2026 and recognized and honored at their schools or the AIA Champion Awards Ceremony. Learn more here:
