Capturing Art Through a New Lens
Capturing Art Through a New Lens

Are you captivated by the art and beauty of photography? If so, then you should join the Flagstaff High School photography club! FHS is home to a flourishing and vibrant community of students who share a passion for the amazing art of photography. The advisor, Gabrielle Neilson, gives students who are in photography class the opportunity to build their skills, while making it enjoyable at the same time.
Although the photography club at FHS has been a mystery and has been here for a very long time, no one is really sure who started it and why, but the impact this club has made is phenomenal, and students are glad to see and experience it to this day. The photography club will be having meetings every Wednesday in room 217 during lunch, where you can experience and hear the creative process of photography. But of course, that’s not all! Being a member of this club not only means you can learn about photography, but you can also participate in SkillsUSA competitions and even go on field trips!
The main goal of this club? Have fun, and let your creative mind take the spotlight! Ms. Nielson has said, “It’s going well, we have plans going on for the fall.” So be ready for the excitement about to come. Students who are a part of this club would love to meet new members who can also express their interests, so look through a new lens and see what the excitement is all about.
