Chilly Weather Activities in Flagstaff

There are many activities you can do indoors and outdoors in Flagstaff during the winter months despite the cold weather and I am going to let you in on some of my personal favorites.

 Outdoor activities that start soon are Halloween activities downtown, they have a lot of downtown stuff going on such as fundraising for dogs, trick or treating, and adult activities. After Halloween they will have their 10th annual tree lighting Saturday December 6th, at 2:30.  Snow Bowl is scheduled to be opening around November 21st for skiers and snowboarders.

There are not only outdoor activities but there are some indoor activities that you can do as well like go to flagstaff climbing and do some rock climbing. You could also do indoor ice skating, walk on all of the beautiful trails in flagstaff etc. Some trails you can go on are walnut canyon national monument or sunset crater. You could also go drive through Bearizona wildlife park and see bears, wolves and goats from your car.

At Snow Park in Flagstaff, they have areas in the winter where you can go snow tubing and sledding. You can also go skiing outdoors at the synthetic rink at the downtown train station “skate at the station." Another thing you can do is Flagstaff's Extreme Adventure Course for ziplining and rope courses. 

There are so many fun things to do in Flagstaff, especially in winter. There are so many fun things you could do with your time during the season rather than just scrolling or not spending time with the people you love. Those are all of the things I have on what you can do when it’s snowy in Flagstaff.
