Overview
Flagstaff High School boasts the most extensive Advanced Placement/Honors program in Northern Arizona, offering 25 AP and Honors courses—more than any other school in the region. All instructors are trained and certified by the College Board, having completed the required Advanced Placement Audit process.
Mission
The Advanced Placement Academy at Flagstaff High School is a community of high school scholars who seek to push themselves academically while having the support of teachers, mentors and peers over a students 4 years in high school. The AP Academy offers a rigorous course of study that encourages exploration and creativity while giving the necessary supports to promote success. Over the course of four years, students in the AP Academy are provided with the tools they need to stand out from their peers, push themselves, and find meaning in their work. It provides an honored distinction at graduation on their diploma as well as countless networking opportunities.
