My name is Ciera Tsosie, I am Navajo coming from the Tonalea area of the Navajo Nation. I am a senior at Flagstaff High School and a dedicated member of the Native American Club. I am a student contributor to the Talon. I am passionate about Indigenous advocacy, health equity, cultural preservation and dedicated to uplifting Native American voices in Northern Arizona. For work, I tutor Kinlani dormitory students in the 9th-12th grade on all subjects except for CTE. In my free time I focus my energy towards community projects, medical research, video post-production, chemistry, and writing.
