Are you passionate about writing, literature, or anything in this field? Join the Flagstaff High School Writing Club! This is a club where students come together and share their passion for writing. Fortunately, this club is open to any student who may have an interest in
joining--no matter your skills in writing—which makes it very welcoming. The main objective of this club is to allow students to express themselves through the art of writing.
In this club, students don’t do regular essays like in English; instead, they try out different writing methods like poems, short stories, scripts, and even song lyrics! This can help students figure out what kind of writing they enjoy. If you love writing, but don’t get to do it as much as you’d like, then this is the place for you.
Another good thing about the writing club is that it can strengthen your writing and even help bring out your confidence in writing. A major contributor is sharing your works. Although it can be scary, you’re surrounded by amazing writers who will share feedback and are encouraging. Everyone in this club has a say and roles given within group activities!
If you are planning to join or have questions further more they can be obtained by the advisor, Mr. Baxter. He is located in the 400 Hallway. So, join the club today and write with passion!
